This is the largest recorded photo and video herstory collection of Filipina women in the diaspora in modern times.

Venue: Le Méridien Beach Plaza, Monte Carlo (the official FWN Summit Hotel — please make sure you're booked there). The specific room will be announced on the Sched.com site closer to the Summit.
When: Sunday, 15 November 2026, 2:00–4:00 PM (24 five-minute slots)
Duration: 5-minute focused sessions
Style: Direct-to-camera, no interviewer
Wardrobe — choose one direction:
- Professional identity: the attire of your field (lab coat, uniform, judicial robe, signature creative style, or smart industry casual)
- Cultural pride: Filipiniana, Terno, or modern Filipino designer pieces, with accessories that hold personal meaning
Technical considerations:
- Skip dangling jewelry and noisy accessories (audio-friendly)
- Avoid white, bright patterns, or reflective materials (camera-friendly)
- Solid colors photograph best (lighting-friendly)
During the videotaping: arrive with camera-ready hair and makeup, sit straight with shoulders back and hands on your lap. You will be taped from the chest up, seated.

We know you're pulled in a dozen directions during Summit week, so please protect this appointment: missed sessions incur a photographer fee, and late arrivals will be rebooked only if slots remain. Appointments are 5-minute slots. Please arrive camera-ready (hair and makeup done). Setting a phone reminder is the easiest safeguard.
Hydrate in the days before for camera-ready skin, and prioritize sleep — it shows
Pack a backup outfit and a small touch-up kit (lipstick, powder, blotting papers)
Comfortable shoes between locations, and a portable steamer for last-minute wrinkles

End with conviction that echoes after the video stops. Proven closers: "Your time is now — the world needs what only you can bring." / "Don't just break ceilings — redesign the entire structure." / "You carry the dreams of generations. TIPS FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT

Lead with emotion, support with facts — stories outlast statistics
Be conversational, not performative — talk to your audience, not at them
Drop one quotable line — something they'll remember and repeat
Reference the current moment (AI, global change, shifting economies) rather than specific dates that will quickly date the video

SESSION ONE: THE PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOT

Sunday, 15 November 2026, 2:00–4:00 PM (24 five-minute slots) · Awardees only, registered for the full Summit

A quick, polished individual headshot, plus a group shot with this year's cohort. This is a fast-moving 5-minute session, not a full portrait sitting, so please arrive camera-ready and ready to go the moment it's your turn. We'll also grab a fun group shot with the cohort!

Each session includes a few candid, behind-the-scenes frames suitable for your own social media, alongside your formal portraits. If it means something to you, feel welcome to bring a meaningful personal or cultural item to include in one frame — a small piece of the story behind the achievement.

What to Wear: Session One — Professional Headshot

Show your industry with pride: chef whites, military dress, judicial robes, lab coats, sports uniforms — or Filipino traditional wear, which we warmly encourage. Creative fields are welcome to bring dance attire or pieces that represent their craft.

Photography notes: rich jewel tones, bold colors, and classic black photograph beautifully; avoid white, highly reflective fabric, or busy patterns. Keep earrings close to the face rather than dangling. Fabric with subtle texture reads well on camera; if wearing a print, choose a medium scale.

Please hold your printed name card for the first shot — this helps FWN volunteers and staff identify your photos in the FWN Photo Gallery.

SESSION TWO: THE GALA PORTRAIT

Tuesday, 17 November 2026, 4:30–6:00 PM (18 five-minute slots), before Awards Gala registration opens at 6:00 PM.

Room to be announced on the Summit Schedule site closer to the Summit. Awardees only.

Your red-carpet moment before you take the stage. Pro tip: bring a wrap or shawl — evening temperatures on the Riviera can turn cool.

What to Wear: Session Two — Gala Portrait

Full formal elegance for your legacy portrait — the gown or formal outfit you're wearing to the Awards Gala. Choose a silhouette that flatters you, colors that make your skin glow, and statement jewelry that reflects your personality. Camera-forward makeup and an updo that showcases your neckline or jewelry both photograph well.
