What NOMINATORS need to know and do before submitting a Global FWN100™ nomination

  1. ONLY online Nominations are accepted at this official FWN Nomination site [http://www.filipinasummit.org/nominate/]

  2. Emailed nominations or sent via postal mail will NOT be accepted.

  3. You’ll need the nominee’s permission to nominate her for any award category.

  4. As the nominator, you are responsible for explaining the award requirements to your nominee and confirming her understanding.

  5. Please answer all the questions to complete the nomination. Answer all questions, or your nomination will be returned. Each nomination form will take approximately 60 minutes to complete.

  6. Here’s a PDF of the Nomination Form, which you can use as your question guide before submitting your nomination online. Do not fill out the PDF. Write your answers in Word and paste them on the online nomination form. Do not submit the PDF as your nomination, or it will be returned.

  7. NOTE: The online nomination form may be saved so you can return to the nomination site and complete your nomination.

    • To save, scroll down to the end of the nomination form and hit "SAVE." A pop-up will indicate, “You’ve saved a draft for this form. Please click on the button below to continue your form.”

    • When you’re ready to continue your nomination, check your email with the subject line "Continue filling out this form later...."

    • Copy the link and save it to your records.

    • When you’re ready to continue, click the link or paste the link into your browser.

  8. PARTIAL SUBMISSIONS will be disqualified, so please carefully choose your words before submitting your nomination. 

  9. A process that has worked for others is to prepare your nomination in a Word document and then cut/paste the questions into the online form.

  10. Before the nomination can be submitted, the nominator will be asked to sign off on the veracity of the nominee's information.

  11. IMPORTANT—The nomination information you submit may be used in FWN announcements and materials to publicize the nominee and the Global FWN100 Awards™ event at the annual Filipina Leadership Global Summit & Awards. 

Global FWN100™ awardee requirements

Being selected for the Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World Award (Global FWN100™) is the ultimate recognition by FWN. This is a Working Award. It comes with accountability and responsibility. Selected Nominees sign the Global FWN100™ Award Terms of Agreement when notified of award selection.

Awardees are included in the FWN Honor Roll. They may use the award designation, including the FWN and Global FWN100™ logos on their letterhead, business card, website, and in their career portfolio and bios as long as they are awardees in good standing with FWN and the business community. Here are the requirements to receive the award designation:

  1. Commit to maintaining FWN Awardee status in good standing.

  2. Commit to an annual tax-deductible Awardee Contribution of $350 renewed yearly.

  3. Attend the Filipina Global Leadership Summit the year the nominee is selected to complete the awarding process.

  4. Commit to nominating at least one outstanding, influential colleague annually in her profession, industry, workplace, or community in her geographic area.

  5. Sign up as a Femtor and be part of developing FWN's talent pipeline for next-generation leaders. To sign up as a femtor, go to http://www.femtormatch.org/femtor-application/. For more info about FemtorMatch, go to http://www.filipinawomensnetwork.org/FEMtorMatch. The awardee can also sign up as a Femtee to enhance her skill sets in areas she feels she needs improvement.   6. Commit to submitting ONE innovative Global Pitch Project to benefit the Filipina women community in the nominee's geographic area.

    • Complete the proposed global pitch project within two years of the nominee’s award selection.

    • When selected, the awardee will present her winning proposed global project at the Filipina Leadership Global Summit the year she receives her award.

    • The following year, the awardee will present her completed project at the next Filipina Leadership Global Summit.

    • The proposed project presentation is an opportunity to engage and invite previous awardees to collaborate with her project.

    • Previous awardees will be encouraged to collaborate or support the awardee’s proposed project.

DISCLOSURE

FWN reserves the right to withdraw the Global FWN100™ Award designation if the awardee is no longer in good standing with FWN and the global business and Filipino community. A Cease and Desist Letter will be sent to the awardee who is no longer in good standing and to cease using the FWN logo, the Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World Award designation and logo, in their bios, resumes, websites, blogs, marketing collaterals, and social media.
