  • Please use a desktop to complete the nomination form for the best results and a smoother experience. Using your phone, tablet, or iPad will not work and create tech problems for you.

  • Selection is open to Filipina women currently and actively engaged in their organizations, professions, industries, and global communities. 

  • The Most Influential Filipina Woman in the World Award is a working award.

  • FWN prefers nominees currently employed and actively engaged in their profession, industry, and community. 

  • You may submit multiple nominations for outstanding individuals. 

  • Only online nominations are accepted.

  • You need your nominee’s permission to submit her nomination.

  • You must explain to your nominee the award requirements, including attending the Filipina Summit when selected.

  • Download the PDF guide for the 2023 nomination form. Do not answer the nomination questions on the PDF. This is only for your reference. 

  • You must answer all the questions to complete the submission. Each nomination will take approximately 60 minutes if your nominee’s information is ready.

  • FWN will announce the final selection of the Global FWN100™ Awardees at a special gala awards ceremony during the Filipina Leadership Global Summit.

  • Awardees will be notified of their selection privately via email after the Global FWN100™ Worldwide Selection Committee recommends them so they can prepare their travel arrangements to complete the Awarding Process. 

  • Watch out for the FWN Summit Schedule web page due to launch on 30 JUNE.

  • Please submit your nominations early, so your nominee can take advantage of SUPER Early Bird Rates, which ends on 31 MAY. Register now at www.ffwn.org/events

 

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE FOR AWARDEES (when selected):

The Global FWN100™ is a working award with the following requirements:

  1. Commit to femtoring young Filipina women helping develop FWN’s talent pipeline of next-generation leaders through the FEMtorMatch™ program. Sign up as a femtor at www.femtormatch.org/femtor-application/. More info about femtoring at http://www.femtormatch.org. FemtorMatch is a membership benefit. You can sign both as a Femtor or Femtee.

  2. Register to attend the Filipina Leadership Global Summit annually. Register at https://www.ffwn.org/events.

    • Actively participate as a speaker, panel facilitator, or volunteer for one of the summit committees.

  3. Commit to nominating ONE outstanding and qualified Filipina woman from your geographic area every year so you can “pay forward” and pass the “leadership baton” to next-generation leaders.

  4. Commit to an annual $350 tax-deductible donation (renewable annually). Contribute via the Awardee Portal.

  5. Remain in good standing to support the Filipina women’s sisterhood worldwide so FWN can continue its global mission.

  6. Get published in the FWN Leadership Book Series. Submit your leadership story (4,000-5,000 words) to be included as one of the chapters in the DISRUPT Leadership book series. An announcement will go out when abstracts are due for DISRUPT 5.0. 

7. Commit to developing a two-year project Global Pitch Project. The Global Pitch is how awardees:

  • “Pay Forward” and help FWN build next-generation projects that will benefit the Filipina women community in the awardee’s geographic location.

  • Give back to the community where she lives that provided her the opportunity to earn a living, raise a family, and thrive.

  • Re-invent herself by developing their global imprint.

  • Leave a personal legacy with the potential to impact the world community.

  • Engage fellow awardees at the Filipina Summit to collaborate, invest, donate, and support with resources and referrals for her Global Pitch Project.

    IMPORTANT:

  • FWN will announce the final selection of the Global FWN100™ Awardees at a special gala awards ceremony during the Filipina Leadership Global Summit.

  • Awardees will be notified of their selection privately via email after the Global FWN100™ Worldwide Selection Committee recommends them so they can prepare travel arrangements to complete the Awarding Process at the Filipina Summit. 

  • Respond to the award selection letter within five days and sign off on the Award Terms of Acceptance Agreement.

  • Information shared on the nomination form and Time Capsules become the property of the Filipina Women’s Network and may be used for promotional and marketing purposes of the awardees.

  • Once selected, FWN reserves the right to withdraw the Global FWN100™ Award designation if the awardee has been deemed no longer in good standing with FWN and the community.

 
 

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

  2. Please review the Global FWN100™ Award FAQs.

  3. “SAVE & CONTINUE” your nomination form:

    • To exit the form and return later to complete it, you must click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. You need to click the SAVE button in order to save your progress. Your entries are not automatically saved.

    • You can either click the GET SHAREABLE LINK to receive your Nomination’s SESSION URL or click the SEND THE LINK AS EMAIL button if you want to send it to your email address for later usage. Do not lose your unique link. You will have to start over if you lose your unique link.

    • To re-enter your previously saved nomination, use the unique link sent to you and the same browser and computer or device.

  4. Please review the nomination form and the documents required of your nominee.

    • Prepare your nominee’s documents ready for upload to the Nomination Form:

      1. Nominee’s bio, 100-200 words, Word or PDF, labeled with her name, e.g., Mondejar BIO

      2. Nominee’s 2-page resumé, not a CV, Word or PDF, and labeled with her name, e.g., Mondejar RESUME

      3. Nominee’s digital business headshot, JPG or PNG format, labeled with her name, e.g., Mondejar PHOTO,

      4. Nominee’s 60-second video of her (elevator pitch) speaking about the highlights of her work background and professional accomplishments, 800MB in either MP4 or MKV formats which are high quality with decent compression (smaller files), labeled with her name, e.g., Mondejar VIDEO

  5. When you fill out the form, do not use all CAPS. Use upper/lower case as you normally type.

  6. Here’s a PDF of the nomination form to be used as a guide to the questions and info required. Do not use this form to submit your nomination. Your nomination will be rejected if you submit this PDF.

  7. Please alert your nominee when you submit her nomination.

  8. You and your nominee will receive a copy of your entry after you hit “Submit” to ensure she has a copy of your official nomination.

TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Are you using your phone, tablet or iPad? Please stop and complete the form on a desktop.

  • Make sure your browser is updated to its latest version.

  • Make sure your browser is set to allow cookies and Javascript. Browser ad blockers may disable certain cookies by default. Some browsers also may disallow certain cookies. Configure your browser to temporarily disable adblockers and set it to allow all cookies for this site only.

  • Empty your browser’s cache and refresh your browser page. We also recommend trying a different browser. You may also need to restart your computer or laptop.

  • Make sure your files meet the file size limitations as noted in the form. Generally, PDF or Word documents should not exceed 1MB; photos should not exceed 5 MB.
